It’s 14 years today since G and I got together.
It really doesn’t seem that long. I believe she deserves some kind of long service medal, after all: she’d have got less for murder! 🙂
We’ve got family visiting at the moment but later I think we’re going to wander out for a few hours to grab some nice food and some wine before pretending we’re not in tonight (tricks in my neck of the woods tend to more closely resemble muggings…). Besides: sometimes the best way to celebrate is just to close the door on the world for a few hours.
