What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We only collect Personal Data where you choose to interact with us on the Website in the following ways:

Sign-ups

When you sign-up to receive free content, including eBooks, news and offers, we collect email address, first name and last name.

When you use the contact form, we collect email address, first name and last name, any personal data you choose to provide to us in any free text box.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
