I haven’t been up to much this week and – somewhat irritatingly – can’t really talk about why.

Sooo, moving on: What I have been doing is working on the second draft of Forever. I’ve restructured and rewritten what is now the prologue and chapter one meaning we’ve moved form Japan (for a while anyway) to London. No explosions or obvious nefarious doings yet – just one scared boy and a dusty man.

Hmmm, may need to work on that some more.

In other writerly related news I got rejected again this week and have spent most of today ensuring all my current unplaced stories are out doing the rounds. I only have one story left to send out, it’s currently awaiting its final draft and I anticipate it’ll wing its way out to market in a week or so depending on how much time I have.

Bookrater.co.uk is progressing slowly but surely as I gradually get more content up. Another review went up yesterday and I’ve been busying myself with all the activity that comes with setting up a new site. Phase two of the plan – blogging about online marketing and how to do it (how I earn a crust), using bookrater.co.uk as an example – will probably get under way later in the month.

This week is shaping up to be quite busy but I’m looking forward to the Amanda Palmer gig at the end of the week.
